Day 28 - Teaching practice (28 November, 2023)

Morning main gate line duty… 

Physics class at 3rd hour in 8Q. Chapter: "Reflection of light in spherical mirrors" :: topic : "Ray diagram for image formation in concave mirrors”. Used concave mirror, laser torch as material aids, & blackboard, PHET simulation “Geometric Optics”, and presentation as A-V aids. It feels like, students could distinguish the properties of image formed by concave mirrors for different positions of object.

Chemistry class at 4th hour in 9C1. Chapter: "Acids, bases & salts" & topic: “pH value". Used blackboard, and presentation as A-V aids & pH paper, dil. HCl, dil. HNO3, water, soap solution, dil. NaOH, test tube, watch glass as material aids. Overall, it feels like, students will be able to understand concept of pH scale.

Substitution at 6th period in 6O for PT.

Physics class at 7th hour in 9Q. Chapter: "work, Energy & Power" :: topic: "Units of Work, Energy & Power". Used meter scale, chalk piece as material aids & Blackboard, videos and presentation as A-V aids. Feels like, students got clear idea on different types of units, & how to obtain SI units for physical quantities from units of the fundamental quantities. Discussed units for other systems also.
