School induction @ Cordova, Public School, Ambalathara

School induction (13th - 17th December, 2022) 

 1st day (13th December, 2022) 

The School gave us a grand welcome. Principal Salin sir & Vice-Principal gave us a brief intro about the school. Teachers introduced us to all the classes. 

  

 

Allotted to 8th standard for 5th period. With 8 students, we went for sports. 

 

I found that 10th & 9th class students are having free period as the teachers were on leave after higher secondary students tour...

So with 12 students of 10th class & 6 students of 9th class we went for sports and games. 

Seeing this, art sir also joined as, & we played badminton together in the ground.

2nd day (14th December, 2022) 

With +2 students, visited Physics lab, they introduced the experiments they have, the apparatus, etc.

         

Visited 7th standard classes for engaging with students.

    

     

      

Visited Chemistry lab classes for lab class observation. The experiment was permagnometry for the estimation of g/moles of given Mohr's salt. 

     

   

  

3rd Day (15th December, 2022) 

Visited 6th standard classes for engaging with students.

    

    

   

4th day ( 16th December, 2022) 

Went for Physics class observation. In the class, Salin sir evaluated the results obtained in the practical experiments & provided tricks to get more accurate observations.

     

Gave 6th standard class sports during 6th period. We played football.

Visited 5th standard classes for engaging with students.

   

    

 

  

5th day (17th December, 2022) 

Last day of school induction. 

+2 students were given Physics lab classes under the supervision of Salin sir (Principal). 

Salin sir gave me the opportunity to take the lab class. With the +2 students, we discussed the aim, theory, procedure, observations & calculations of experiments - "Figure of merit of galvanometer", "liquid lens", "Convex lens & mirror", & "Angle of prism". With the help of lab assistant, we performed the experiments & the results were evaluated by Salin sir. Discussed how to draw (Object distance - Image distance) u-v curve & corresponding 1/u - 1/v graph for convex lens & mirror experiments.

The school gave us a GoodBye with many everlasting memories!
