Day 33 - 4 December, 2023

• Morning: Main gate line duty followed by the school assembly.
• Substitutions:
  • 4th hour: 6K.
  • 5th hour: 6L.
  • 6th hour: 6Q.
  • 7th hour: Substituted in 9Q for PT hour and conducted an achievement test.

Day 34 - 5 December, 2023

• Morning: Main gate line duty.
• Substitutions:
  • 1st & 2nd hours: 6T for Robin sir (Basic Science).
• Physics Class:
  • 3rd hour in 8Q: Taught "Ray Diagrams for Image Formation in Convex Mirrors" using convex mirrors, a laser torch, blackboard, PHET simulation “Geometric Optics,” and presentation aids. Students were able to distinguish properties of images formed by convex mirrors.
• Chemistry Class:
  • 4th hour in 9C1: Covered "Acids" using blackboard, presentation, pH paper, litmus paper, dil. HCl, dil. HNO3, water, soap solution, dil. NaOH, test tube, and watch glass. Students understood the concept of acids and their properties.
• Substitutions:
  • 5th & 6th periods: 7P & 7O combined.
  • 7th hour: Substituted in 9Q and conducted diagnostic tests.

• Yoga Class Observation: Observed Physical Education classes for 9Y & 7O.
• Physics Classes:
  • 3rd, 4th & 7th hours: Substituted in 9Q, discussed answers, conducted remedial classes, and introduced the chapter “Current Electricity.”
  • 6th hour: Substituted in 8O, revised chapters on “Reflection of Light in Spherical Mirrors.”

  • 6th hour: Substituted in 9O. Discussed Abhishek’s creativity project involving a power bank.
• Christmas Celebration: Engaged in the Christmas celebration with 9Q.

Overall Reflection:

This week was marked by a variety of activities, including teaching, substitutions, and special events:

• Teaching: Focused on Physics and Chemistry topics, particularly in optics and acids, using a range of teaching aids to enhance student understanding. Diagnostic and achievement tests helped gauge student learning and identify areas for improvement.

• Substitutions: Covered a broad range of subjects and classes, providing flexibility and maintaining continuity in the students' learning experience.

• Special Events: Participated in the Christmas celebration and a visit to the planetarium, which enriched the educational environment and offered students a broader perspective on science.

• Exams: Involved in VSSC exam duties, gaining insight into examination processes.
